Once I got here, I had to make my house livable because it needed a little TLC. I kinda like putting my gloves on and doing some of the remodeling myself. At the end of the day when a project was done, it was nice to see the fruit of my work. Along with my chores, I squeezed in some fun because you have to take a break after a few hours.. So far, my new hobbies include cocktail hour at 5 O'clock sharp sitting in my balcony watching the Cabo Bay and learning and learning how cook.

I am a terrible cook but I am hoping that soon, I will be able to get into the kitchen and make something edible. I have had the pleasure of entertaining some friends from the States. It is awesome to have them here and while they get a free stay at my place, they swing by my house and bring me some more of my belongings. Nothing is free in this life, darling!. It works great for all involved because they get to come here for a few days and the money they would have spent in a hotel, becomes their spending money.

I have great expectations not that I call this place home. Once I get settled, I want to go out and get to know the city a bit more. There is queer life down here as well. That I know of, there are at least three queer places you can go to if you feel like dancing and shaking your booty.
